TAHITI pepper & salt mill - red & orange

A stylish duo and easy to distinguish pepper (dark colored mill) from salt (light coloured mill). The TAHITI salt and pepper mills are made of beech wood with a knob in brushed steel and foreseen from the typical Peugeot grinder mechanism. Available in 3 combinations and packed as a gift set.

Mechanism for pepper mills:
The mechanism of the Peugeot pepper mills is made of case-hardened steel. It is equipped with a helix-shaped double row of teeth that guide and hold the peppercorns for a perfect grind.

The grind for pepper:
The grind is important for unlocking the full flavour of your pepper, according to your taste:
>  Fine grind = will develop power
> Coarse grind = will reveal flavour
> Medium grind = for balance
To regulate the grind, simply turn the control button at the top of the mill.

Which pepper to use:
To get the best out of your Peugeot pepper mill, we advice peppercorns with a diamter smaller of 6 mm or less. You can use black, white and dry green. The pink berries can only be groun if in a blend (max. 15% pink) with one of the other peppercorns.

Grind for dry salt:
The Peugeot salt mechanism is designed to grind cooking salt. It is made of a special stainless steel that resists corrosion. Its shape is specifically adapted to dry salt crystals and enables to reduce them to a fine powder. To get the best out of your Peugeot salt grinding mechanism, you should use salt with a diameter of 4mm.

Note: this salt mill can not be used for wet salt
