Roos Van de Velde - where the tableware story began

In 2012, Roos Van de Velde designed the very first tableware collection for Serax. Perfect Imperfection moved away from perfectly uniform porcelain: deliberately irregular shapes, tactile surfaces and subtle variations give every piece an almost hand-shaped quality.

It was also the first Serax collection to join the Bohero selection. Perfect Imperfection is made for tables where individuality matters more than everything matching perfectly.

Sergio Herman - three ways to set the scene

The collaboration between Sergio Herman and Serax has resulted in three very different tableware collections. Surface takes its character from the rugged textures and landscapes of Zeeland. Inku is softer and more organic, with a Japanese influence, while Silhouette pairs white porcelain with subtle irregularities.

Choose the rawer feel of Surface, the organic lines of Inku or the quieter backdrop of Silhouette. Three collections, each giving what you serve a completely different setting.

Ann Demeulemeester - light, line and contrast

Ann Demeulemeester brings her distinctive graphic approach to porcelain, glassware and cutlery for Serax.

With Dé, a hand-painted gradient draws the eye towards the centre of the plate. Ra plays with height and silhouette, while the faceted Zoë cutlery stands out even alongside very simple tableware.

There is no need to commit to an entire collection. One expressive plate, glass or cutlery line can be enough to give a restrained table more contrast and character.

Vincent Van Duysen - a calm foundation for every day

With Cena and Passe-partout, Vincent Van Duysen brings a sense of calm and cohesion to the table.

Cena works with soft colours, clean proportions and an understated presence. Passe-partout brings tableware, glassware, cutlery and table accessories together in a quiet, timeless collection.

Where some collections play with colour, pattern or texture, Van Duysen opts for simplicity and balance. The result leaves more space for the food, the materials and the objects you choose to place around them.
