The line-up by annebet philips

From paper sketches to ceramic serving dishes

With The Line-up, Annebet Philips turns her sketches into ceramic serving platters and bowls for Serax. Blue brushstrokes take their cue from Delft blue, while retaining the spontaneity of her drawings. Choose one platter to stand out against white dinnerware, or combine several shapes for dishes to share.

Choose shapes that work for your table

A long platter leaves room for smaller bowls alongside it; a round dish puts a shared course at the centre of the table. Pair a larger platter with bowls for sides and sauces. Build your selection around what you like to serve and the space you have, from a few bites with drinks to dinner with friends.

    Make more of the blue

Plain white plates let the brushstrokes stand out. Add plain blue bowls to give the colour a bigger role on your table. Within The Line-up, the shared blue connects the different shapes and patterns, so you can mix designs rather than repeat the same one.

Each piece is finished by hand. Differences in shape and colour are part of the design and make every piece unique.

The Line-up is Annebet Philips’ second collection for Serax. In her first, Carte Blanche, she translates cardboard models into porcelain tableware outlined in black.
