Serving plate 01 THE LINE-UP in white & blue

Annebet Philips turns a quick sketch into a plate for your table. This ceramic serving plate 01 belongs to The Line-up, her collection of serving platters and bowls for Serax. The blue brushstrokes retain the spontaneity of the original drawing. Philips takes Delft blue in a contemporary direction, with the simple, direct character of a sketch.

Make it the centrepiece of Sunday brunch, with croissants or pastries to share. Pair it with plain white breakfast plates to let the drawn design stand out. Add plain blue bowls for yoghurt or fruit to give the colour more presence across the table. Bring the plate out again for small bites with evening drinks.

Each plate is finished by hand. Differences in shape and colour are part of the design and make every piece unique.
